STANTON - Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won the team title at the Stanton Invitational Golf Meet Sept. 4 played at Elkhorn Acres Golf Club. The Lady Bears posted a 420 to claim the big plaque with Wayne four shots back at 424.
Wayne’s Carli Canham was the individual champion with a 91, Madelynn Bohnet of South Sioux City was the runner-up after carding a 98.
Cedar Catholic had a trio of golfers compete in the meet paced by Kaley Lammers who used a 133 to place 38th.
Elsie Haahr shot a 151 for the Lady Trojans to place 47th and Grace Kruse posted a 164 which put her in 53rd place.
The Lady Trojans are set to travel to Pierce for the Pierce Invitational on Sept. 13 then head to Battle Creek for a tournament on Sept. 15.
