1955: Randolph 3-year-old appears to be injury jinxed

Sept. 1, 1955

RANDOLPH - An injury jinx seems to be plaguing little three-year old Gregory Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlen Robinson. Hard luck seems to be following him.

He was recovering from having his foot sewed for removal of a piece of glass when he fell and ran a rusty nail into his abdomen, nearly rupturing an intestine.

This wound is healing very well but he has foot trouble again. He caught his foot under a slammed screen door, badly bruising the little toe and joint.

Cooler temperatures which followed were as welcome as the rain. While much more precipitation is needed, the rain freshened everything, and helped the pastures.
