The game would end up that way but it did not go as scripted. Wynot would struggle mightly In the first half but rallied in the second half to make a game of it. The game did go down to the wire with Pender earning the 35-33 win.

Cedar Catholic defeated Winnebago 71-49 to move on to the semi-finals where they knocked off Laurel-Concord-Coleridge. Wayne then ended Cedar’s title run in Saturday’s championship game. Cedar has a rematch with LCC this Thursday and will face Wayne again later this month.
