Brad Arens, X-pert Lawn and Landscaping and caretaker of the complex, was asked to keep the sprinklers running to help the runners cool off. Defending state cross country champion Carson Noecker took the lead in his first 300 yards and didn’t look back until he crossed the finish line, with the next runner coming in over three minutes later.
