Several Hartington ATV racers got the 2020 season off to a good start before the action came to an abrupt stop because of the coronavirus. On Saturday, Feb. 29, they all competed in the Inaugural Outlaw Indoor Syrup Races at Sioux Empire Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, S.D. Joey Leise (far right) earned first-place honors, while Adam Wortmann (left) took third and Heath Walter (middle) finished fourth. The event was televised by Advantage Racing TV.
