HARTINGTON — All Nebraska schools have been ordered to keep their doors shut for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

Abi, Owen, Nolan, Benji and Natalee Hart put signs on the fence in their back yard to let teachers know how they were feeling. Hartington area teachers and students, seperated by the COVID-19 virus mandates, got a reunion of sorts Wednesday night. An Educators Parade throughout the Hartington community took place here beginning at 7 p.m. Teachers, para-educators, staff and administrators from Hartington-Newcastle, Holy Trinity and Cedar Catholic took part in the parade. The parade featured everything from normal every day cars and trucks to golf carts and go kart. Many of the vehicles were decorated with signs.Read more
