As Detlefsen Construction began the work, a couple of discoveries were made in the process — a green wall and a tunnel. Initial contacts to LCC alumni were made to see if answers could be found. Consensus was that the green wall was part of a storage closet off the old shop/old gym in the 1908 building. The tunnel where pipes were found was more than likely a tunnel that could be used for maintenance purposes.
