He received a medal, certificate of completion, a prize and a free book from the library. He also received a personal pan pizza from Mama Mech’s. When asked what was his favorite book, Hendrix replied, with wide open arms, “All of the books!” Hendrix visits the library often. Not only for all those books but also to “Go on a Bear Hunt” and StoryTime. College scholarship funds are awarded by the Natural Resources District to graduates who intend to pursue agricultural related careers. The Lewis and Clark NRD encourages these students to consider returning to the area after completing college to protect the natural resources and contribute to the region where they grew up.
