Fire at Green Diamond

ST. JAMES — A fire that started outside the Green Diamond Bar here Friday afternoon was put out by area fire fighters. Little information was immediately available, but the fire apparently started in a vehicle outside the building. The fire did not get inside the local landmark.

NEWCASTLE – At a special meeting of the Newcastle School Board, members of the Board responded to a strong public showing and declined cooperative agreements for the football program from two separate schools. State-rated St. Mary’s dominates Blue Devils

O’NEILL — The Wynot Blue Devils lost 46-0 to the speedy St. Mary’s Cardinals Friday. St. Mary’s dominated both sides of the ball and rolled up a 397-128 yardage advantage. O’Neill would pick off five interceptions and recover three fumbles for the game. Tait Sibbel had a big night for the Cardinals as he rushed 14 times for 138 yards

Blue Devils pick up first win against Wausa
