Jumping for joy
Wynot High School athletes Kyle Eskens, Tristan Wieseler, Joe Harold, Coach Lee Heimes, Davis Wieseler, Coach Steve Heimes, and Austin Lange erupted in joy when the Blue Devils defeated top-seeded Falls City Sacred Heart Friday at the Pershing Center in Lincoln. The Devils then defeated Spalding/Spalding Academy in Saturday’s title game to win the state title

Wynot girls earn first round win in State Tourney
………………………. LINCOLN — Wynot girls earn big first round State Tourney win against Giltner 80-53. The girls will compete in the semi-final round at 3:45 p.m. against Lindsay Holy Family. Wynot boys win district title, trip to State

Wynot loses to Osmond, District Title game
………………………. HARTINGTON — Wynot fell to Osmond in the District title game, Friday. Wynot was able to receive the wild card and a trip to the state tournament to revenge their loss. The state tournament will be in Lincoln, Feb. 28 – March 2. Check back during the weekend at state for constant updates and photos from the State Tournament.
Wynot competes against Bancroft, second round of SubDistricts
