Vermillion man admits to Fordyce bank robbery

SIOUX CITY, Iowa  —   A long unsolved case is finally being put to rest. Karlis Baisden, 24, Vermillion, S.D., who was awaiting sentencing for a botched bank robbery in Lawton, Iowa, pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to robbing the Cedar Security Bank, Fordyce.
