SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Norman E. Sullivan, 86, died March 2, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas.
Graveside services were March 9 at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Harper, Texas.
Norman was born Feb. 23, 1931, at Hartington, to Clara (Miller) and Floyd Sullivan. He graduated from Laurel High School in 1948, and went to Wayne State College. He joined the United States Air Force and retired as Lt. Col. after 30 years of serving his country. After his retirement he worked for General Motors for 10 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing billiards.
Norman is survived by sons, Randall (Sandy), Grapevine, Texas, and David, San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Carolyn Collier, North Richland Hills, Texas; sister, Beverly Ziegenbein, Ashland; brother, Gary (Myrna) Sullivan, Grand Island; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Lang, and his parents.
