LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Board of Education and Administration are planning a Community Discussion Thursday designed to obtain stakeholder feedback.
The meeting is set for Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. in the small gym in Laurel.
“The board is committed to gathering ideas from stakeholders to guide our school district,” said Supt. Randy Klooz. “This focused group of district and school leaders will work together to help formulate a vision of the future, and identify goals and strategies necessary to move the district forward to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Attendees will be working together in small groups to reflect, define, and design the district’s vision for the future for the LCC schools and students.
Topics of discussion will include:
• What points of pride, accomplishments, and achievements, has the district realized?
• Identify the challenges that may impact the district?
• As a vested district patron, what are the expectations and priorities for the LCC School District?
Anyone planning to attend or with questions or in need of more information is asked to contact the school district at 402-256-3133.
“Please let us know if you will be able to join us in this exciting opportunity to assist in shaping the future of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School,” Klooz said. “Working together will strengthen our student learning experience and success. On behalf of the students of the district, LCC School appreciates your contribution to this and other school support initiatives.”
