Seniors enter District play Friday

WISNER — The Hartington American Legion Seniors start their journey today for a repeat trip to the Class C State Tournament.

Hartington is the third seed in the District C-2 Tournament, which will be played at Wisner.

Hartington will take on sixth seed Battle Creek in a 5:30 p.m. game Friday.

O’Neill is the top seed in the tourney, while Stanton drew the second seed.

The loser of the Hartington-Battle Creek contest will play Saturday against the loser of theWakefield-Ponca game with the loser being eliminated. If Hartington defeats Battle Creek on Friday they will go up against the winner of the Ponca-Wakefield game at 8 p.m. Saturday.
