Obituary – Wallace Day Voss

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Wallace Day Voss, 82, Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Laurel and Hartington, died July 29, 2012, at his home in Long Beach, Calif.
There will be a graveside service to bury his ashes in the Laurel Cemetery, Laurel, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m.
Wally attended Laurel High School and was a 1946 graduate of Hartington High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and graduated from the University of Nebraska. He worked for various insurance companies, first in Omaha, then in California.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Joy Voss; his son, Dirk; his daughter, Meredith; and grandson, Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Gretchen.
