Obituary – Maynard Dale Hansen

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Maynard Dale Hansen, 72, Sioux Falls, S.D.,
died Jan. 20, 2008.
Funeral services were Jan. 24 at the George Boom Funeral Home,
Sioux Falls. with Pastor Michael Bales officiating.
Interment was in the Tea Cemetery, Tea, S.D.
Maynard Dale Hansen, the son of Walter and Ruth (Andersen) Hansen was born April 26, 1935, in Carroll. The family moved to Allen, where he attended schools and graduated from high school.

Maynard married Patricia Evers Dec. 27, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa. He spent two years in the Army from 1958-1960. After his discharge, Maynard was employed at Nabisco for 32 years. For the last 15 years, Maynard worked part-time for the Sioux Falls Central Lunch Program. He was also a part-time employee for the Moose Lodge for 21 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sons, Kevin Hansen, Brandon, S.D., and Curtis Hansen and his wife, Jane, Sioux Falls,S.D.; three grandchildren, Brenna Hansen and Brody Hansen, both of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Leha Hansen, Pennsylvania; one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Hansen, Sioux Falls, S.D.; a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Hansen, and her children, Pennsylvania; two brothers and wives, Rodney and Helen Hansen, Coleridge, and Kenneth and Mary Hansen, Allen; three sisters, Arlene and husband, Milo Patefield, Laurel; Bernita Meyer, Oakland; and Vivian Lemke, Merrill, Iowa; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Craig, in 2000.
