Wildcats claim fourth straight

HARTINGTON — The Hartington Wildcats made it four in a row Monday. Hartingon now boasts a 10-5 record on the year after defeating Winside in first-round action of the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament. The Wildcats started the winning sreak with a 60-39 win over Bloomfield. The Cats next defeated Plainview 67-50 before handing the Winside Wildats two straight losses.

Cedar girls claim pair of wins

HARTINGTON — The Cedar Catholic Lady Trojans won a couple of nail-biters last week. Cedar defeated Ponca Jan. 22 on a Kylie Feilmeier three-pointer with the clock winding down. Knox County picks up DEQ grant

LINCOLN — Knox County was one of several Nebraska governmental entities to receive  Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality grants this week.
